KOEGEL RAWHIDE SUMMARY

KOEGEL RAWHIDE LOCATION MAP

KOEGEL RAWHIDE OVERVIEW

Emergent optioned the Koegel Rawhide Property ("Koegel" or the "Property") from Jeremy Wire, as announced by a press release on February 13, 2012.  The Property consisted of 19 unpatented claims.  Emergent staked an additional 17 unpatented claims, bringing the property size to 36 unpatented claims.  The Wire claims were subsequently acquired by Emergent in 2018.  â€‹â€‹The Property is an early-stage gold and silver exploration property of merit located in the Walker Lane Gold Belt in the Rawhide Mining District, Mineral County, Nevada.

Koegel is located about four miles south of Rawhide Mining LLC’s (“RMC”) Rawhide Mine (aka Denton Rawhide Mine). â€‹Rawhide Mine has produced over 1.8 million ounces of gold and 14.9 million ounces of silver from 1990 through 2019 (source:  Nevada Bureau of Mines Special Publications).  Note that no mineral resources and mineral reserves have yet been delineated on the Koegel Rawhide Property and proximity to Rawhide Mine does not guarantee exploration success.

Koegel is a volcanic-hosted, structurally controlled, epithermal gold-silver target situated in the Walker Lane gold belt of western Nevada. The Walker Lane is a regional shear zone and known gold trend that has hosted large and small historic and recent gold-silver mines in western Nevada, including mines of the Comstock Lode, Tonopah District and Rawhide District.   Property geology is similar to Rawhide Mine, with structures from the Walker Lane and Basin and Range faulting, along with lithologic units and structures of the Rawhide volcanic center.

Charles P. Watson, a geologist, mapped the area in the early 1990’s and described the lithologic units as being late Tertiary age felsic to intermediate volcanics, including andesitic tuff flows and tuff flow breccias, that were intruded by numerous dikes and sills.  These rocks were subsequently folded into a broad anticline. Faulting then took place, with the dominant orientation being northwest, and with northeast-trending cross faults.  Dominant hydrothermal alteration (silicification and argillic) occurs along the northwest-trending structures.  Watson felt that multiple generations of fault movement and hydrothermal alteration had occurred.

Watson identified a major alteration zone (the "Alteration Zone") on the Property that runs north and northwest.  It is approximately 600 feet in width and 5,000 feet in length and open to the north and south. Within this Alteration Zone, the T-10 High-Grade structure was identified from historic sampling (average grade of 0.52 opt from 13 samples) and confirmed by Emergent sampling (0.27 opt from 11 samples) during due diligence.

Watson produced a detailed geologic map with 221 surface rock samples taken from the RHT claim group and assayed for gold and other pathfinder elements.  He completed a separate investigation on the GEL claims in 1992 and 207 samples were taken and that were also assayed for trace elements.  Several structures were identified as potential exploration targets.

In 2021, Emergent completed an airborne magnetic and radiometric geophysics survey over the 36 claims.  These surveys produced useful exploration data, including geophysical exploration targets along and around the T-10 Zone.

Subject to financing, Emergent plans to complete additional soil sampling on the Property to better define individual targets, then permit and conduct a drilling program.  The Property has the potential to host bulk disseminated and high-grade vein mineralization subject to exploration success.
